All cPanel share web hosting should be activated within 24 hours after you pay the order. You should received an email with subject "New Hosting Account Information" once your hosting account activated. Please read through this email carefully. Some important information and instruction for your hosting account is written in this email.
You may start manage your website at this stage.

NOTE: Please check your spam/junk/bulk folder as well instead of inbox, may be the email redirected incorrectly depend on your spam filter setting. Otherwise, please Log in to your client area, click on "Email History" under "Hello". You can get "New Hosting Account Information" email's content here along with your cpanel hosting account information.

Step 1: Change Your Domain Name Server

In order to get your web site working, you must change your domain name servers. You will find the actual name servers in the email with subject "New Hosting Account Information" as stating above.

Once you change the name servers, it takes roughly 24-48 hours for your web site to start resolving to LovingHosting's servers.

Step 2: Uploading Your Web Site

You can begin uploading to your account now by using an FTP Client or cPanel's File Manager.

  • If you are using an FTP client, put in your site's IP address under the "Temporary FTP Hostname" field. Use the username and password sent to you in the email with subject "New Hosting Account Information" as stating above. FTP always runs on Port 21.
  • Once your FTP is connected, go into the "public_html" folder and begin uploading your site. Your website main page, must be an "index" file e.g., index.htm, index.html, index.php etc. in all lowercase lettering.
  • Kindly make sure you DO NOT store FTP password in any FTP client for security reason!
  • Please note that by default, you do not have an email address setup. You will need to configure this yourself in cPanel. Please refer to cPanel email user guide.

Step 3: Get Help

Step 4: Manage Your Billing

You will be billed automatically for your web hosting on 10 days before your next due date (i. e. if you pay your order by monthly cycle on 20th January, next invoice will be generated automatically on 10th each month). Please ensure that you pay the invoice before due date. If your invoice is not paid in a timely manner, your service will be suspended. You may also add fund into your account then the fund will be automatically used to pay the invoice once the invoice generated.
